Be aware of the beautiful ceiling

The convenience store, which shines particularly brightly in the cityscape at night, has LED lights placed in parallel to the road in a fully glazed store. Compared to placing the elongated lighting vertically, even with the same amount of light, it will be much brighter from the outside.
Many shopping malls and department stores have similar lighting plans, but most of them can be said to be the result of emphasizing convenience and efficiency.
On the other hand, what about high-class hotels, stylish cafes and restaurants? There should be few places where countless downlights are embedded in the ceiling or wiring ducts are stretched around.
In such a space, the necessary light is placed in the necessary place, and it is not brighter than necessary. Lighting, which says that the brighter the better, will ruin the atmosphere of the moment.
These days, both detached houses and apartments are full of downlights. The ceiling light of the fluorescent lamp that once dominated the world has disappeared, and the downlight, which only played an auxiliary role, is the main character. Of course, the light emitted from that small light source is not suitable for illuminating the whole room like fluorescent lamps. As a result, countless downlights fill the ceiling.
Speaking of residential lighting so far, most of the lighting plans were that it would be as bright as possible with as few as possible. Because it has changed to a downlight, there are countless holes in the ceiling. At night, you can see a dazzling light from the ceiling as many as the number of holes.
Home should also be an important place to heal the tiredness of the day. I think it is many times more comfortable to live in a room with a good atmosphere and relax than a space that emphasizes convenience and efficiency.
If you look at overseas interiors, you will see the difference well, but you will notice that there are surprisingly few houses with countless downlights embedded in the ceiling, and the number of lights on the ceiling is small.
Instead, there are several things such as wall-mounted lighting, floor stands, and table lamps, and even in Japan, such lighting has been used as a matter of course in high-class hotels.
The ceiling height of Japanese houses is about 2,400 to 2,700 mm. Because it is not that high, the unpleasant light called glare that comes out of the lighting is easy to see, and I feel stressed in the house without noticing it. Unexpectedly, the reason why hotels can be more relaxing than at home is largely due to the difference in lighting.
Floor lights and table lamps have a shade that covers the light bulb to prevent glare.
There are few wall-mounted lighting with bare light bulbs, and the resulting lighting may feel a little dim, but it is easier to see and convenient because it is closer to the hand than the lighting on the ceiling, and there is no glare. In such a lighted space, the relaxing effect will be high in combination with a calm atmosphere.
Lighting is especially important in Nordic countries with long nights. Nordic people who spend a lot of time at home are more interested in lighting and interiors, and it is no exaggeration to say that Denmark is the country with the most developed culture of lighting.
Louis Paulsen, a Danish lighting manufacturer founded in 1874, had a great impact on lighting around the world, with the theme of glare-free, and in the 1920s, with Paul Henningsen, who is said to be the father of modern lighting, to announce PH lamps. I keep giving.
Louis Paulsen Japan has been recommending multi-light dispersion for residential lighting for a long time through lighting seminars, etc. However, there are few people who use Lewis Paulsen lighting in general housing, and it is difficult to penetrate in Japanese housing that emphasizes efficiency and budget.
Japanese houses are also becoming a little bit in demand for design. Even if you are not aware of lighting yet, I think that the elements required for living will gradually change.
Function and efficiency may also be important, but the most important thing in people's lives is to feel comfortable and affectionate in life. I think that because it is an era where information and things are overflowing, we will come to understand the importance of essential things.
Looking at the clean and beautiful ceiling without noise, I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like answering the question of what true abundance is.
