Fashion and sustainability

Since the RHC shop opened in my hometown, I sometimes go shopping, but I often don't have the size or color I want.
When I went to buy a different color T-shirt I bought a while ago the other day, I was told that it was out of stock again... I asked the clerk, "Isn't the product in stock low?" When I asked, it seemed that the number of people originally made was small, and since it was a rural shop, it seemed that the number of arrivals was even smaller.
If you ask, it seems that Ron Harman's policy is not to make extra inventory, including the SDGs, in response to closed-loss problems such as excess inventory → sales in the fashion industry.
Until then, I used to choose a store based on the criteria of "whether there are products I like", but recently I feel that "where to buy" is more important than "what to buy".
In the fashion industry, new trends are set up one after another for sales, but the feeling that it is too excessive is already a problem among some designers. Combined with trends such as sustainability in recent years, the attitude of brands and companies will become even more important in the future.
Because of its uniqueness, I think the fashion industry is one of the industries that faces issues such as sustainability early on, but I don't think the day will be far away when the same challenges will be faced in all of our consumption behavior.
I fully understand the feelings of consumers who want to buy something as cheap as possible, but if it goes too far, it may be like the previous fashion industry, and it may already be.
As a result, such a situation is not beneficial to us, and in the long run, it seems that there are more negative factors.
Don't we need to think more about where the money we spend casually flows and what kind of society will be born as a result?
