Do you know the term "focal point"?
In the architecture and interior industries, it is a commonly used word in the sense of "a place that catches the eye" and "a place where attention is concentrated".
It should have been well put together with furniture that matches the taste of the interior, but the whole thing is somehow blurry...
As a result of combining the tone of the room to white, or arranging your favorite dining table and furniture with the same wood as the floor, it becomes a space that does not look good.
If you are particular about living, you want to make a room full of "comfortable" and "like" for yourself and your family.
Many visitors to the extent that it is said that "the entrance is the face of the house" can go home after finishing their business only at the entrance. The first impression is so important that it is said that 80% of a person's first impression is determined by appearance. That's why it's important to be particular about the entrance in your home, and even in feng shui, the entrance is regarded as an important place to attract luck.
The front door that comes home every day is the first thing you see. The messy entrance is out of the question, but the entrance is too clean and empty is also lonely. I think that by decorating your favorite art on the wall in front of the front door or placing a nice table lamp on the shelf, you will feel gorgeous every time you go home.
What always catches your eye indoors is the wall that can be seen in front of the entrance. Overseas, the fireplace in the living room is used as the focal point to enjoy seasonal decorations, but in Japan, the wall where the TV is placed is in such a place. In recent houses, more and more people are using tiles and accent cloths on the walls behind the TV to create walls. By illuminating such focal points with indirect lighting and table lamps, the room will be deep and the space will be more stable.
The important thing is to shine a firm light on the focal point. Just looking at the space where your favorite things are placed, you can feel happy. By shining the light firmly there, the unnecessary noise around it disappears, creating a very cozy space.
However, you should be careful not to shine a strong light such as a spotlight.
Unlike during the day, there is no light from the outside indoors at night. Even with a little light, it is easy to feel glare, and the body and brain enter a relaxed mode, especially at night when you are tired and come home. To spend a relaxing moment, it is recommended to take care that the light source of the lighting does not directly enter the eye, and the soft lighting with a low-set floor lamp and the gentle light of indirect lighting.
The light reflected on the wall will gently illuminate the focal point, and the pleasant light will envelop the entire room, bringing a moment of bliss to the residents.
