Since debuting in the late 1980s in THE FACE magazine, German photographer Norbert Schollner has also been active in numerous other publications, including VOGUE, DAZED, i-D, and The New York Times Magazine. This book archives rare photographs by Schollner that captured the minimal style of PRADA from 1998 to 2002 and the campaign visuals of that era, which had a significant influence on the contemporary fashion scene. The book’s design was handled by Jonny Lu Studio, the creative director behind i-D and Jamie Hawksworth’s monograph TO THE ANTARCTIC. The first edition was published in June 2024 and sold out instantly. Designed with the theme of “archives” in mind, the cover paper evokes the gray cardboard typically used for archival boxes, and the cover is punched with four holes, as if intended to be filed.
