A monograph on Swiss architect Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret. This comprehensive volume focuses on the urban planning of Chandigarh, whose architecture and furniture are considered highly significant in 20th-century architectural and design history.

Following the 2006 exhibition “Le Corbusier & Pierre Jeanneret, Chandigarh, India” at New York’s Sonnabend Gallery, this book explores the history of Chandigarh’s urban planning from 1951 to 1966 across 432 pages, offering a broader perspective on the project. It is published by Paris-based Galerie Patrick Seguin, which has showcased the works of Le Corbusier and Jeanneret for over 25 years.

The book includes photographs taken from the period to the present, documenting the importance of architectural projects and furniture production within this plan. It also features a chapter dedicated to many of the photographs taken by legendary architectural photographer Lucien Hervé during his first visit to Chandigarh.
