ARK JOURNAL, an interior design magazine based in Copenhagen, Denmark, presents its 13th issue for Spring/Summer 2025.
Under the theme of “Obsession”, this issue celebrates the creative journeys of people whose passions and commitment have connected excellence with authenticity across music, design, interiors, art, and architecture. Featured projects include the home of American modernist architect Philip Johnson, works by Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza, the independent non-commercial music platform Brodie Sessions, the French late-modernist masterpiece Villa Weil, New York–based German-Italian architect, sculptor, and designer Umberto Bellardi Ricci, and the modernist Manitoga house in Garrison, New York, designed by pioneering American industrial designer Russel Wright. The magazine embodies the beauty and simplicity that define Scandinavian design and architecture.
Founded in 2019 by Mette Barford, a former editor of a renowned Copenhagen-based interior magazine, ARK JOURNAL visits homes around the world to highlight exceptional ideas, innovative designs and materials, and the stories and philosophies of their inhabitants. Published twice a year, it is distributed in 25 countries worldwide.
