The Flowerpot Lamp became an icon of the “flower power” movement in the late 1960s, which emerged under the banner of anti-war activism. At that time, there was a cultural shift toward breaking away from traditional conventions to embrace a more open and modern mindset that promoted peace and harmony—an approach that also influenced designer Verner Panton. The Flowerpot series consists of three pendant lamps and two table lamps, available in a wide range of colors. The two overlapping shades are formed from shaped metal components.
