The plywood chair, introduced in 1946 by Charles & Ray Eames, replaces the Eames design, which improved functionality and productivity by making molded plywood parts separately. It is one of the products to represent. While DCW, which uses molded plywood for the legs as well as seats and backrests, DCM uses steel legs. This is a model made by Herman Miller in the 1950s.
