Think about the lights of house

Many so-called masterpiece lighting are on display in this studio and gallery. It is mainly lighting and interiors designed in the so-called mid-century period from the 1950s to the 1970s in Denmark, Italy, France, etc.

Around the 1950s, there was still a lack of supplies after World War II. Naturally, the lighting is not as bright as it is now, and the orange light of the incandescent lamp can be seen in the slightly dark room of life at that time. Around the 1970s, with the spread of fluorescent lights, it became common to see many indoors that were brightly illuminated to every corner like during the day.

Since then, most of your homes have been brightly illuminated by ceiling lights and downlights.

Incandescent light bulbs became popular around 1920, and various lighting theories and novel designs were presented by Paul Henningsen of Denmark, who is said to be the "father of modern lighting", and are still being carried on today.

At that time, architects and designers enrolled in Bauhaus in Germany were designing lighting fixtures that placed emphasis on the form of geometric equipment rather than the quality of light, while Danish designers such as Paul Henningsen were the quality of light. We attach importance to things and create excellent lighting fixtures through designs based on the theory and philosophy of light, not just the beauty of the shape. Many of the Danish lightings, which were born in such a historical context, are still produced in Denmark and distributed around the world, with their beautiful light and form unchanged from their time.

A truly wonderful design has a beautiful shape that properly captures the essence of things and is born from it, and such excellent works are passed down through the ages and continue to be loved by people.

Lighting not only has the function of lighting brightly, but beautiful lights are close to people's lives and create beautiful scenes. There are always beautiful lights in cafes and wonderful restaurants with atmosphere, and the special moments spent there in a "space with rich lights" will be irreplaceable in life.

However, the "rich lights" referred to here are not luxury brand lighting fixtures. The cafes and restaurants mentioned above should not necessarily use such lighting equipment. What those shops have in common is not a bright room like the daytime pouring down from the ceiling, but a space where you can feel the depth and shadow of the light that has been well lit. Shops that still use candlelight to produce should feel like a particularly high-quality and atmospheric place.

From time immemorial, lights have the mysterious power to appeal to people's scenes, and lights are indispensable to our lives. Therefore, how we relate to lights greatly affects our quality of life.

Why don't you incorporate the idea of "rich lights" that appeals to people's sensitivity from the material values that it's good to be bright so far?
