Residential lighting planning

A light that is indispensable in the home. What kind of lighting you choose is very important to build a more comfortable house.

Until now, when it comes to lighting, it is normal to be on the ceiling, and if there is even a little dark in the room, there are many people who change it to brighter lighting or add lighting to illuminate it.

However, in a space with a really good atmosphere, the number of lighting is surprisingly small, and there are many cases where the ceiling is not illuminated. In restaurants with a good atmosphere overseas, there are quite a few shops where there is only one candle on the table. It's true that it feels a little unrestrained, but once you get used to it, it's unexpectedly comfortable.

In fact, the lighting on the ceiling serves its purpose in terms of illuminating the whole thing, but what we do in that space is not appropriate. Compared to the brightness required to illuminate the table and hands, the distance from the lighting installed on the ceiling is reasonable, so in fact, the lighting is brighter than necessary. As a result, it makes the whole room brighter than necessary, and instead emphasizes the dark part.

If you compare the brightness on the dining table in LDK and the lighting in a room where you often spend time in a low position like the living room, even with the same brightness, the living room feels dark.

In addition, I think you may feel dark when you enter a large room like LDK from the entrance, corridor, toilet, etc., but it occurs when the number of lights and brightness in a large room is not enough compared to the number of lights in a narrow space.

This imbalance occurs due to the fixed concept that lighting should be on the ceiling. Just as we do differently depending on the location, we need a lighting plan to match the lighting.

If you think about it that way, you can also understand that lighting does not necessarily need to be on the ceiling. The original lighting plan is important to unravel the way people live there and plan according to their actions.

For that, it is necessary to consider "how you have lived so far and how you will live from now on", and it is not a very simple task, but that is why you can create a really comfortable space.

If you light the ceiling and illuminate the entire room brightly, it may certainly be reasonable and efficient, but the time spent at home is an important time to reset the day, so you should be required to be comfortable enough to relax from the bottom of your heart. I don't think so.
