Consumer culture theory

I feel like many people are attracted to things, have their favorite things, and think that living surrounded by them is rich. Certainly, everyone will want to be surrounded by their favorite things at least once.

However, you should have actually got your favorite thing through the store or the Internet, but when you finally put it together, you will not be as impressed as you imagined.

There are a wide range of perspectives we choose when shopping. In recent years, I think there are many people who see it on Instagram and search for it on the Internet, but it is a convenient world where you can get it in a few days with one click when there is something you are interested in accidentally.

Or go to your favorite shop and take home the wonderful things you came across by chance... In the case of interior decoration, I don't think there are many people who buy impulsively except for those who are extra rich, but I think many people have experienced that they can't get used to what they bought after worrying about.

If you buy something without thinking deeply, you will get bored after a while, and you will want to let go of what you get just because it's a trend. You can only get satisfaction by constantly getting new things, so no matter how many things you buy, you will never be satisfied. Such a life is nothing more than consuming things and money, and you need more and more money to keep it like drugs.

In a TV drama not long ago, there was a scene where a male company manager consumed more and more food just by eating a mouthful of high-end food. In addition, an economic analyst said on TV, "Please spend more and more money to turn the world's economy around. If you do that, money will go to your place again and the economy will get better and better. I said that.

In an era when the population continues to increase, the economy will grow rapidly even if it is left alone to always outperform supply, but even today, the ideas and sales methods that encourage mass production and mass consumption seem outdated.

If you assume that the idea of using limited resources effectively is appropriate for the future era and that it is not disposable in your home and that you will use it carefully for a long time, different purchasing activities will be created. I think that the increase in such users will also lead to a change in ideas from mass production and mass consumption.
